OnePlus 8T 128GB Silver

On 14 October 2020, OnePlus announced the successor to the successful 8: the OnePlus 8T. This device comes with some nice upgrades compared to its predecessor. For example, the 8T has a 120Hz display so that images are always displayed smoothly.

This AMOLED display is 6.55 inches and it has a full-HD+ resolution. An extra camera has been added to the back of this OnePlus phone, this is a macro lens. So in total this device has four cameras. Besides that, the camera has a Snapdragon 865 processor, 128GB or 256GB worth of storage space, 8GB or 12GB RAM, and a 4500mAh battery with 65W quick charging.

The display of the OnePlus 8T is a pleasure to look at and therefore perfect for series, games, and other content. With a refresh rate of 120Hz, images are always shown smoothly. And thanks to AMOLED, colours look vivid and black images are truly black.

You can charge the 8T's 4500mAh battery at an unprecedented speed thanks to OnePlus Warp Charge. Quick charging is possible with a maximum capacity of 65W! Ten minutes of charging is good for 40% battery percentage. And in about forty minutes your device is fully charged.

Powerful, fast performance thanks to Snapdragon 865 processor

The OnePlus 8T runs on a Snapdragon 865 processor and 8GB or 12GB RAM which gives a fast, smooth performance. This means apps start up quickly, you can switch smoothly between apps, and play demanding games without glitches. There is also support for 5G internet and WiFi 6.

Four cameras for different situations

The camera set-up of the OnePlus 8T consists of four cameras. For example, the primary 48-megapixel camera always takes high-quality photos and videos thanks to optical image stabilisation (OIS). The OIS corrects vibrations and movements. The 16-megapixel camera has an ultra-wide-angle lens that allows you to capture more in a single image.

This lens is useful for large landscapes, for example. Use the 5-megapixel camera with macro lens for close-ups to get close-up details in focus. This is useful for plants or small animals. And the 2-megapixel camera with monochrome lens lets you take black-and-white photos with lots of detail.

128GB or 256GB storage capacity

OnePlus released the 8T in two storage variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM. The operating system takes up a small part of the internal storage. The rest is used to store apps, games, photos, and videos. A microSD slot is missing. So for more storage space you can use a cloud service.

Stereo speakers for good sound quality

The OnePlus 8T has two speakers for stereo sound. This makes the sound quality much better than with one speaker. This way the sound during gaming, or watching a video or a TV-show, sounds much better.
