The AirPods Pro are bluetooth earbuds with noise cancelling that shuts out noise from your environment. The earbuds come in a wireless charging case. When you store the AirPods in the case, they are charged immediately. Useful for on the road!

Compared to the previous AirPods, the design of the Pro is slightly different. These are real in-ear earbuds again, with three sizes of silicone caps included. Besides that, the stem is equipped with a pressure sensor with which you can perform various actions.

Shut out noise with noise reduction

With the Apple AirPods Pro you can enjoy your favourite music to the fullest thanks to noise cancelling. The active noise cancellation is constantly adapted to the shape of your ears and the ear tips. This suppresses outside noise so you can listen to music or make phone calls in the best quality.

Transparency Mode to allow noise from your environment to pass through

Do you want to hear your surroundings? Then press your pressure sensor on the handle to switch from active noise reduction to Transparency Mode. This ensures that noises in your environment able to pass through. This way, you can still talk to people without taking out your AirPods Pro.

Operation via pressure sensor or Siri

A pressure sensor is placed on the stem of the AirPods Pro, with which you perform certain actions. For example, you can use one tap to answer an incoming call or play/pause your music. Press twice to go to the next song and three times to go to the previous song.

And when you keep pressing the handle, you switch between noise suppression action and the Transparency Mode. You can also use Siri to play a song, adjust the volume, or get directions by saying "Hey Siri" and then your request.

Charging case to extend battery life

On a full battery charge, the AirPods Pro have a listening time of 4.5 hours. And if you turn off noise reduction and Transparency Mode, you get 5 hours of listening time. With the included charging case, you can charge the earbuds several times, so you can go the whole day/night!

You find out that the battery of your Apple earplugs is running low, just before you leave? No problem. After 5 minutes of charging, you have about 1 hour of listening time. The charging case of this AirPods Pro can also be charged wirelessly.

The convenience of a wireless connection

The Apple AirPods Pro now support Bluetooth 5.0 for a more stable connection. The earbuds automatically connect to your iPhone or Apple Watch as soon as you remove them from the case. What's more, you can listen to the same music via 'Audio sharing' on two different AirPods.

Pairing AirPods Pro with Android

Do you have an Android phone? Then you can also use the AirPods. However, some functions are missing. For example, you can't start Google Assistant, the music doesn't pause automatically as soon as you remove the AirPods from your ears, and you can't see the battery status of the earpods and charging case on your smartphone.

It can sometimes happen that the AirPods do not seem to work properly with Android. This has to do with a setting. As an Android user, you need to set the Bluetooth audio codec to AAC for an optimal connection. You can do this via the developer settings on your Android phone.
